All 180 employees from the previous contractor have been retained by DHL.

Norbert Dentressangle has secured a new contract with UK-based camping specialists, Sunnflair.
Prior to the new arrangement, Sunnflair used several external carriers to collect and distribute its products. However, unsatisfactory service combined with cost issues prompted a review of its operations and the appointment of Norbert Dentressangle Transport Services as its primary transport provider.
Norbert Dentressangle makes up to fifteen collections a day from Sunnflair's premises at Chelmsford and Ipswich. Next-day deliveries are then made to the company's 2,800 retail stockists across the country.
The service incorporates the transportation of Sunnflair gas stoves and cylinders, which are subject to strict Accord Dangereux Routier (ADR) carriage requirements.
Norbert Dentressangle also provides the bespoke Shipment Handling & Reporting Program (SHARP), technology, an online system that enables customers to place multiple delivery orders at its head office in Chelmsford, which are transmitted electronically to Norbert Dentressangle before being distributed to vehicles across its shared-user network.
The Lloyd Fraser Group has been awarded a new two-year contract by First Milk, effective April 1st.
The new contract not only renews Lloyd Fraser's existing operation across Central England, but the company will also assume responsibility for both the South-East Wales and Oxfordshire milk fields, acquiring depots at New Inn and Thame.
Lloyd Fraser will commence discussions with the outgoing contractor to ensure a smooth transfer for affected staff and no service disruption for First Milk. In many ways the return of New Inn to Lloyd Fraser control marks something of a ‘full circle', the depot having originally been operated by Lloyd Fraser in 1999 for Milk Marque, the successor to the original Milk Marketing Board.
