P&O Ferrymasters has been accepted as a co-operation partner of the Logistics World Alliance (LWA).
Established in 2006, LWA is an international supply chain alliance of major European partners who provide international companies with outsourced logistics and added value solutions via a single, central contact point.
LWA is represented in more than 300 locations in the most important European logistics locations. Other members and co-operation partners are Aditro Logistics, Redur, Bibby Distribution, Geis Group, Log Service Europe and MGF Logistique.
P&O Ferrymasters provides freight management, intermodal, FTL/LTL, deep sea and niche specialist services including dangerous goods, high value, temperature-controlled, coilers and event management.
P&O Ferrymasters' managing director Bas Belder said that the company's existing network of 29 European business centres, coupled with a unique mix of services and local on-the-ground knowledge in the most dynamic and emerging markets means it has a lot to offer LWA customers.
