Panalpina wins more oil & gas business

Panalpina has been awarded significant new business by Weatherford and Halliburton, two long-time customers in the oil & gas sector.
 

Weatherford has appointed Panalpina to handle air and ocean freight exports from the US and Canada.

In addition, Panalpina will be responsible for packing services for export shipments destined for Latin America, Africa and Russia.

Panalpina Houston has been appointed to handle all of Halliburton's airfreight business from the US to Europe (except Norway). This traffic amounts to more than 1,000 tons a year, and will primarily be routed via the Dixie Jet service from Huntsville, Alabama. In addition, Panalpina was able to retain business for lanes from the US to Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Halliburton also appointed Panalpina Canada to handle its airfreight and ocean freight exports from Canada to Europe (except Norway). Panalpina Canada was also awarded both air and ocean exports to Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa.
