GEFCO Slovakia earns ISO 14001:2004 certification; GEFCO Spain to open a new facility in Madrid.
GEFCO Slovakia has become the second GEFCO subsidiary, following Argentina, to be certified to ISO 14001:2004, the standard for environmental management systems.
This certification strengthens GEFCO's position in the Slovak market.
In early-October, GEFCO Spain will open a new logistics platform at Ontigola, about 50 km south of Madrid.
Customers at this 20,000 m2 facility include PSA Peugeot Citroën, Nivea, Dia, Mecaplast and Tarket.
