Damco has announced the launch of its weekly Americas Bridge service - a new LCL network from its Miami hub to 33 key Latin American destinations.
The new service uses Miami as a hub to either consolidate LCL shipments from various US points for full container shipping to multiple countries in Latin America (including Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru and Chile), or to ship LCL directly from Miami with weekly options.
According to Henning Malmgren, CEO of Damco Latin America, the new service is an end-to-end, one-stop-shop solution that encompasses inland and ocean transportation, warehousing, customs clearance and visibility. Tailored to each client's needs, the service provides flexibility, reliability, and efficiency.
Americas Bridge customers can also benefit from Damco's supply chain visibility product, which, when combined with the inventory management from the Miami consolidation hub, enables customers to determine the location of their cargo at any given time.
