CNC Holdings acquires majority stake in TransLogic Auto Carriers


CNC Holdings has acquired a 53% stake in Michigan-based TransLogic Auto carriers.
 

Company founder Lyn Tetreau will retain the remaining 47% of shares, and will continue as president of TransLogic.

TransLogic provides local and long-haul auto transportation services to major car manufacturers, including General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Honda, VW, Subaru, Kia and others. Services include national central vehicle dispatch with facilities in Michigan (Detroit), Colorado, Florida, Virginia, Indiana and Massachusetts.

Along with auto transit, TransLogic facilitates vehicle distribution by offering vehicle storage and marshalling to manufacturers, as well as mobile management response services.

The company reported sales of approximately $40 million in 2007.
