Canada's Cargojet has entered into a strategic aircraft wet lease agreement with Warsaw-based LOT Polish Airlines, effective November 7th.
Cargojet will operate a weekly transatlantic flight between the Hamilton International and Katowice - Pyrzowice airports every Saturday.
The B767-22ERF service will provide the only direct freighter service between North America and Poland
The Katowice - Pyrzowice airport's location in the Upper Silesian Industrial Region enables deliveries within Poland as well as to Eastern and Central Europe.
Within Canada, consignments will be transported to their destination points by Cargojet. For destinations outside Canada, LOT Polish Airlines has many interline agreements that enable cargo to be flown or trucked to any city in the US and Central and South America.
